ARAM, or All Random All Mid, is the only alternate game mode and map that still exists permanently in "League of Legends," and in Patches 12.22 and 12.23, Howling Abyss will be getting its first upgrade in years. In a Nov. 14 blog post, Modes Design Lead Daniel "Riot Maxw3ll" Emmons and Community Manager Lilu "Riot Riru" Cabreros detailed changes to Howling Abyss's environment and champion balance to make the game less frustrating.
