EVANGELION WATCH ORDER NETFLIX/2019 GUIDE EVANGELION WATCH ORDER NETFLIX/2019 GUIDE guidean Eva that doesn't avercomplicate fit I have not seen one promise you lit's actually very simple. Please don't listen to Reddn. NEON GENESIS EVANGELION (TV SHOW) You start here. It's 26 episodes long You might have heard from other guides about a director's cut some weird 2 to 24 nonsense. Netflix daesn't have this version so don't warry. Its new scenes are in the first movie /platinum version/ There is also Rebuild of Evangelion, a remake/Ssequel series of movies which started in 2007 and will finish in 2020. Netflix doesn't have these and it's unlikely they ever will, but you can stream them on Funimation and the BluRays/DVDS are very easy to find, especially compared to NGE which has been out of print in the west far a decade now. 3 are out so far They're known as 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 in the west and Jo, Ha and Q in Japan. Some releases have extra numbers (i.e. 2.22) but they're all the same movie, they dan't actually have director's cuts like the names might lead you to believe. The extra numbers mostly relate to banus features on the home video releases You really should watch these movies after you've seen the original series, if you don't mind going outside of Netflix A lot of purists hate them, and while they're definitely not as good as the original series, they're worth a watch, especially with the last mavie coming out next year NOTE: 1.0 is a recap of the first 6 episodes of NGE, but dan't skip it. It makes some small changes and sets up the rest of the series 2. EVANGELION: DEATH(TRUE) (MOVIE) This is a non-chronalagical recap movie of the first 24 episodes. It includes some extra footage not in the show, as well as the director's cut scenes. It's optional, but highly recommended if you've liked the show so far. Also knawn as Death and Rebirth or just Death (True): these are just different cuts of the mavie EVANGELION 3. THE END OF EVANGELION (MOVIE) It's the alternate/real ending to the TV show, and takes place at basically the same time as episodes 25 and 26. Don't skip those episodes and watch this, you need to watch both. If you didn't like the TV ending, you'll probably like this mare. Episades 25/26 are the result of Anna (the director) not being allowed to do some of the stuff in this movie and working with what he had, essentially S NOIEENA
