ANT•AVG• / III•VIR•R•P•C, war galley under oar right with triple ram prow and scepter tied with fillet / LEG-XIII, aquila between two signa. Crawford 544/27. </p><br /><p>From the early transition period of the Roman Republic / Empire.</p><br /><p>A wonderful and scarce piece of history.</p><br /><p>Consort of Cleopatra VII and associated with Julius Caesar and Octavian Augustus.</p><br /><p>It doesn’t get much better than this!
