The full life of Himura Kenshin's story. Kenshin was born into a peasant family under the given name of "Shinta". After losing both his parents to cholera by age nine, he was sold into slavery. With his life turning for the worse, he was taken under the custody of three young women who were fellow slaves, Akane, Kasumi and Sakura, and grouped together to take care of him in the face of being a child slave.
