Another Uzbek player, Jakhongir Vakhidov, beat world no. 13 Leinier Dominguez, while it was also the end of the road for the likes of Gukesh, Parham Maghsoodloo, Dmitry Jakovenko and fan favourite IMs Ravi Haria and Volodar Murzin.
