There is a 1/12 (8.33% to percentage) chance that after picking up the gun, Carl will load in hacks and steal the gun away from you. After which, he will shoot you with the gun and you will be given the ending. There is no actual hacks or hacking in this ending or experience. During Carl's "Hacking" he will say real lines of code relative to what's happening while he's stealing the gun from the player.
