Fredbear is an animatronic mascot for Fredbear's Family Diner, and an important character withing the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, though most notably Five Nights at Freddy's 4. He is one of two "spring-lock" suits, the other being Spring Bonnie. Both animatronics double as animatronics and suits. He would later be possessed by a Crying Child, becoming Golden Freddy, as well as being dreamed up as Nightmare Fredbear and Nightmare. Fredbear is also a secret animatronic in the game Ultimate
