This is a closer look at Long Dong Silver and his little brother. LDS is an 80 foot spire legendary with climbers. I read climber reports which reported that when they pounded in anchors rock particles rained down from the other side. Some criticized those who climb this spire because of damage which will eventually cause it to collapse. Climbers responded saying this formation is destined to fall anyway due to erosion so those who are willing to take the risk should be able to ascend it while it still exists. Zoom in at the top and you may be able to see a rope left by a climber.
