Descrição
For the first time in 92 years in the history of the Football World Cup, FIFA has introduced new technology inside the ball to enable referees to make quicker and more accurate decisions. A new suspension system and connect ball technology have been added to the 'Al Rihla' which is the official match ball for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The 500Hz inertial measurement unit (IMU) motion sensor element installed at the ball's centre will track every touch of the ball at a rate of 500Hz (500 times per second) and will provide live data to the officials.
